Classic Rhubarb

Met Dumb for breakfast first this morning. And she si still so tired. Crap exams tired her out. Poor girl ): Wenhao and his friend (who apparently reached level 16 in DOTA while we were still level 9-ish last night) came to follow me to visit a wonderfully boring place called Serangoon Swimming Complex. Saddam came along too. It's the start of a seriously dull job of a lifeguard. They went to swim while I got my shirt and stuffs. Totally boring place man. I'm surprised it's not completely devoid of life yet.

Started the job and went to sit around the kids pool. OMG they look so funny. Running around with their water guns trying to shoot one another. Potential terrorists. Nope, their coach who turned up later wasn't Mas Selamat. But it shows that children these days are born with violent strands of DNA in them. How would it be like 10 years later? Probably much worse than the most terrifying terrorist now. If they could shoot water now, what sort of liquid would they shoot in future? Tsktsk. And their parents were laughing along with them. God bless Singapore.

Job was basically fine, with quite a few funny stories from the older lifeguards there. For example, there's one China dude who is very good at pissing people off and another Singaporean coach who seem to be the best in everything (That was what he said though, not others). Time seemed to crawl ever so slowly till I was trying to move the time on the clock with my willpower. Boring man. And it was mentally exhausting too. It's a tough job staring at others while you can do nothing. This job ain't for the weak-minded :D

Dumb's out with her friends watching fireworks at Marina Bay while I'm just glad to be away from the swimming complex. I've seen enough water for one day. And I miss you love (:
